Entrepreneurs are encouraged to submit ideas throughout the year and we do not charge any application fees and success fees. The format of the submission is described here: Submission Form
Each applicant will be screened by the Wharton Alumni Angels UK/European Screening Committee in anticipation of an upcoming pitch event (roughly quarterly). Pitch Events will be virtual and will be for 3-4 finalists. Selected companies may also be asked to reapply for future events if the business model is compelling but not yet fully evidenced.
The Pitch Events are the opportunity for the chosen start-ups to present their ideas face-to-face to potential investors. Following the Pitch Events, Wharton Alumni Angel Investors will collectively complete due diligence, and then individually decide how much capital to invest into any particular business.
The deadline to be considered for a Pitching Event is typically 6 weeks before the event.
