The Wharton Club of the UK is an active sponsor of entrepreneurialism. Through our partnership with the Wharton Alumni Angels, we connect entrepreneurs and early-stage investors across the UK and Europe. Wharton Alumni Angels is the official global club for Wharton angel investors. Wharton Alumni Angels has c. 330 members in 22 countries and invests c. $1.5 million per year in 10 companies. There are over 50 portfolio companies as of March 2021.
In conjunction with Wharton Alumni Angels, the Wharton Club of the UK will also present thematic events that are of interest not only to active angels, but also to members of our community at large.
The Wharton School has a worldwide network of over 90,000 alumni, representing a formidable knowledge base which can benefit entrepreneurs and investors alike. In the UK and Europe, Wharton Alumni Angels and Wharton Club of the UK both cross refer companies to our sister group, Wharton Alumni Mentoring (WHAM) which can provide knowledge and experience to help entrepreneurs to grow their business.
